Lake Merced sits closest to the ocean in our service area, and the weather shows it: wind, fog, and salt air arrive together. Decks here need heavier hardware, tighter fastening schedules, and railing systems that don't rattle in the breeze.

We favor composite and hardwood surfaces for coastal exposure, with solid or cable railings engineered against the wind load rather than just the code minimum.
